What better way would there be to celebrate the National Volunteers Week than to have superstars like Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth participate in the “Bounty's "Make a Clean Difference" program, which had one of its stops in Los Angeles on 4th June recently. The stop was made at Kingsley Elementary School where the two Hollywood actors took part in the initiative along with the Bounty group and some other local volunteers as well.

The Bounty group, under the Procter and gamble Company, is the one that initialized this particular campaign, in fact following the request that was made recently by President Obama, where he asked all Americans to contribute and help out in society in as little a way as they could. This initiative begun by Bounty intends on improving the learning standards and environment of public schools, and they have in their agenda at the moment thirty different public schools in ten different cities around
the country.

Kingsley Elementary School was therefore one of the stops that was made by Bounty in Los Angeles, as a part of their initiative and Peter Facinelli, who is best known for his roles in the megahits Twilight Series and Jennie Garth, his wife who is best known for her role in Beverly Hills 90210, also took part in this. They represented the local volunteers from the city of Los Angeles, although there were many others as well, such as those volunteers from the Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation and the HandsOn Network.

All these volunteers along with the celebrity couple helped Bounty in their task of improving the atmosphere of the public school- Kingsley Elementary School. They even participated in planting new flowers and helping in improving the gardens and the outdoors look of the school; in fact they were also reported to help apply fresh coats of paint inside the classrooms of the school.

The two celebrities set a very good example as they lead the team of the local volunteers in this attempt to improve the public schools of their city as a part of the National Volunteer week this year.
