According to Angele Boyd, IDC Group Vice President and General Manager, Imaging/Output Document Solutions and SMB many companies that are now looking for efficient document management services can save up to $6 million with Ricoh’s new MDS plans. In the event Ricoh also made an announcement that they had recently done a research with IDC where they found that many new companies are now thinking of going for office document management so that they can look after other important things.

They also said that they have done one more research in partnership with IDC that clearly indicates that many companies are already aware of the problems of information and document workflow but they don't know how to resolve it. In the event, Ricoh said that as per their expertise the fragmentation of departments in the organization and lack of consolidation of observed and unobserved costs can be the main reasons. Ricoh’s President and CEO, Shiro Kondo also made a speech informing that their decision for investment is not only to achieve the company targets but also to make their customers more agile and responsive to their clients in the future.
