If you need to know how to clean your sink, then we shall give you some great ideas to make sink cleaning much easier for you. The main thing that you need to remember is that a bathroom sink tends to become a receptacle for leftover products we use for grooming our bodies – thanks to the fact that it’s so close to the water source. So bacteria grow and thrive very easily – which is why regular bathroom sink cleaning is a must.
For sink cleaning, you will need a small sponge with a scrub pad on one side, a spray glass cleaner like Windex, paper disposable drinking cup, paper towels, and a scouring cleaning agent like Soft Scrub. So here’s what you do. Simply turn on the tap, rinse the basin quickly – saturate your cleaning sponge at the same time. Then pull up the plug from the drain hole, remove all the debris from it. Squirt a little cleaning agent onto the scrubbing side of the sponge, then scrub the plus – ensure that all the grime and residue is removed from it. Rinse the plus, and then replace it.
Add some more cleaning agent to the sponge, wet it with some warm water, and then scour the basin with the scrubber pad. Then turn over the sponge and clean the chrome ring at the basin’s base around the drain, don’t forget the knobs, the faucets and any other metal fixtures that happen to be there. Rinse the sponge, squeeze out any excess water. Fill up the cup with warm water, and flush out the cleaning agent from the sink and the metal fixtures. Spray the basin and metal fixtures with the glass cleaner, wipe down with the paper towels until it’s fully dry. Then rub until they shine.
